While dining reservations are not mandatory, we do kindly ask that you contact us for dining reservations in advance of your visit. Reservations help us to prepare and staff accordingly, and ensure the best possible experience for you and your guests, and that is our number one priority!
The Charlotte City Club’s dress code exists to promote a comfortable environment befitting a business club where members entertain socially and professionally. The dress code is in keeping with the spirit of the club and best serves the majority of its Members. It is the responsibility of Members to ensure their guests are aware of the club’s dress code.
While traditional business attire is always appropriate, smart business casual attire is also welcome. Jackets and ties are not required for men and
collared shirts are preferred. Clean denim and upscale resort wear (including Bermuda-style shorts) are permitted year-round.
Hats must be removed upon entry to the Club. Women’s dress hats are acceptable. We kindly ask that no t-shirts, bare midriffs, athleisure/athletic, torn denim, swimwear/coverups or flip flops be worn.
The club is located at 121 W. Trade Street, at the corner of Trade and Tryon in uptown Charlotte, however, the parking garage maintains a separate address and is best used for GPS navigation to the Club. The Parking entrance for the building is 116 W. 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202.
Proceed NW down Fourth Street, you cross over College Street, then get in the right-hand lane. Cross over Tryon Street and note the First Citizens Bank on your right, and an overhead walkway directly ahead. You will be turning right under that overhead walkway. The entrance to the parking garage will be on your right and is marked with City Club signage and four gold arrows. Proceed down the alley and enter the garage by taking a ticket.
Park in any City Club Member spot, a compact spot, or an unmarked spot. After parking, take the elevator to the main lobby of the building, and come to the last bank of elevators. Be sure to bring your parking ticket with you for validation.
