When I was a newcomer to Charlotte, a number of people encouraged me to connect at City Club. It was a known location, a perfect place for conversation, and staffed a team of professionals committed to flexing to meet personal and business needs. City Club was a jump-starter for friendships, and many of the people I look to today for fellowship, counsel, and insights can be mapped back to early visits to the Club.
Brunch before the Panthers game is a staple for us and our game-day buddies. The Club is a great place for watching the pre-game show in the Hornet's Nest Bar area.
We've also hosted a casual dinner for ~20 friends and family that were in town for a just-for-fun 5k. The food was great and the Wine Room provided the perfect backdrop for a fun, relaxing evening.
I absolutely love having a casual, relaxed drink or meal at the bar before or after an event in uptown. The atmosphere is always the right balance of sophistication and fun conversation. I have met the most incredible friends around the bar and am always excited to see who may already be there when we arrive!
We love attending events at the Club! It's great that there are events for all ages. Our favorite so far has been the Family Halloween party. It's so fun to see all the kids and parents dressed up and the themed food is always amazing. Our daughter loves Disney so the surprise appearance by Minnie Mouse in her witch costume was a huge hit!
We have had a wonderful experience using the Club for both personal and work-related events over the last two years. We have hosted our daughter's wedding (a smashing success!), two Holiday parties, and our annual graduation party for our trainees. All have been well organized, cost-effective, professionally managed and, of course, had top-quality food and beverage options. Working with the Club was seamless and readily tailored to our specific needs for each event. We can't imagine using any other venue for our personal and business-related events!
